These lightweight bumper brackets for the BMW E36 chassis are a race inspired part designed to cut weight from the nose of the vehicle. Compared to the OEM front bumper shocks which weight 3.57 lbs each, these light weight brackets weight less than 1 lb each. In competitive road racing, every weight saving counts, especially at the very front of the car.
