The Gen V LT engine is a robust engine and offers a ton of benefits over its Gen 3 or 4 LS predecessors. From better flowing heads, bigger head bolts, to better factory performing bottom end components and more!
However, in a purely race oriented platform the DI or Direct Injection offers very little to no performance gains and causes substantial complexity in tuning and fuel delivery.
These plugs plug the holes in the combustion chamber where the factory injectors would go. They use the factory fuel rails to hold them in place. Using a pair of factory seals to seal in the head, these are a quick and easy solution.
Pair with this component to plug the oil galley in the original factory mechanical fuel bore and you are ready to run a Gen V engine like an LS3.
